A 22-year-old social media influencer and model, Ayzia J. Toledo, was tragically killed in a car crash over the weekend that also resulted in the death of another passenger, authorities have confirmed. Ms. Toledo, a resident of the Philadelphia area, was widely recognized for her modeling work and lifestyle content shared under her online alias, "AYZIA J."
Details of the Fatal Collision
The fatal incident occurred in Deptford Township, situated approximately 12 miles south of Philadelphia. According to New Jersey State Police, the vehicle Ms. Toledo was driving veered off the roadway, subsequently overturning and colliding with a tree. Both Ms. Toledo and her front-seat passenger "sustained fatal injuries," officials stated.
The second victim was identified as Henrietta F. Carter, also 22, from Darby, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Philadelphia. A third occupant, seated in the rear of the vehicle, sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital. The exact circumstances surrounding the crash are currently under investigation by authorities.
A Beloved Online Personality
Ms. Toledo was a prominent figure in the social media landscape, frequently sharing posts focused on beauty, fashion, and her daily life in the Philadelphia region. She had cultivated a significant online following, accumulating over 300,000 followers across her various social media platforms. This included more than 250,000 followers on TikTok and approximately 87,000 on Instagram.
Following the announcement of her death, her social media pages were inundated with messages of mourning and sympathy from her dedicated fanbase.
Ayzia was deeply loved by her family, cherished by her close friends, and admired by many throughout her community. Ayzia has gone home to Heaven to rest peacefully alongside her beloved mother and grandmother.
A GoFundMe campaign established in Ms. Toledo's memory highlighted her aspirations and impact, noting that she had been "building an incredible future for herself."
Another Influencer's Untimely Death
Her passing occurred on the same day another young content creator was killed in a separate violent incident. Brianna Johnson, 21, known online as DreamDoll Brii, died in a drive-by shooting while riding in a Lamborghini SUV in Miramar, Florida.
